PAUL CONNOR

President, Owner

Paul Connor comes to Intellicom with 25 years of IT experience working for industry leaders like EDS, Oracle, and Cisco Systems. He has an extensive background in end-to-end IT solutions, with a specific focus on infrastructure.

He has driven the requirements, design and construction of data centers in Silicon Valley, Research Triangle Park, Amsterdam and Sydney, AU.

Leveraging his datacenter experience, Paul was selected to start up a new business for Cisco providing disaster recovery services to customers. In this role, he was accountable for business development, delivery and overall profitability and revenue.

His experience in this area led him to Cisco’s Professional Services – where he worked with business leaders on strategy and solutions for pipeline management, resourcing, financial management of projects, delivery management, and overall customer satisfaction.

This breadth of experience allows Paul to engage across multiple levels with companies to help them understand how Intellicom can help meet their business needs.

Paul has BS in Information Management from Brigham Young University’s Marriot School of Management and an MS in Technology Management from Pepperdine University’s Graziado School of Management.

ROB CLAYTON

VP of Installation

With four years of service to our country in the United States Army as a Cellular Communication Technician, Rob began his employment with Intellicom in mid-2000.

His dedication and perseverance to his projects is a reflection of his outstanding character.

Rob has managed multiple projects simultaneously, many at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

PETE VISH

VP of Sales & Strategy

Pete brings over 30 years of experience managing Low Voltage technology contracting companies and services.

Throughout his career and across the Southeast. In his roles as Sales and Service manager, Division manager, Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating officer of multi-office corporations. Pete and his teams have managed over 500 million dollars of successful technology installations across the USA.

Pete’s current role is to clarify the corporate vision, develop the sales pipeline, explore different products and services, and reposition the companies’ brand as the region’s premier technology integrator.

Pete studied business at Louisburg college, is an avid fisherman, golfer, coach and dedicated husband and father.

trevor baugh

Account Manager

Trevor Baugh is an Eastern Carolina native. He grew up in Greenville North Carolina and obtained his degree from Pitt Community. Trevor has been working in the electrical field since his early teens. He continued to develop and hone his skills by installing Data infrastructure on projects for many high-end customers such as Military bases, State and Government, Banks, Software firms, Commercial retail, and others. This led to becoming a liaison as a sales representative for Intellicom in 2020.

Trevor’s experience in the field makes him stand out as he understands the day-to-day operations of what it takes to make a job efficient and seamless. His strengths are communicating with customers and project managers to ensure the relationship can become something long lasting.

MAX MULLINS

Account Manager

Currently filling the role of Account Manager in the Sales Department. Max has been in the Telecommunications Industry since 2016 working with many clients in the Life Science, Healthcare, Education and Class A office space covering a variety of services ranging from cabling, electronic security, audio visual, cell boosters and anything a space may need within our service capabilities.

Max graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in 2009 and spend a majority of the time since in the NC market. When not working he likes to spend his weekends on the lake with his dog and enjoys the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman.

Jimmy NEWTON

Account Manager

Jimmy has over 35 years of experience in sales and management. He joined Intellicom in 2020 bringing a wealth of sales experience and expertise. As an account executive, he has developed relationships with a broad range of customers, colleagues, and I.T. professionals designing low voltage infrastructure solutions. He enjoys and understands the importance of building long lasting relationships with customers from start to finish on every project. Jimmy is a loving father and husband who has “never met a stranger.” He enjoys fishing, playing golf, and cooking for his family and friends.

Rick Drefke

Lead Design Engineer, RCDD

Rick has been involved in the Low Voltage technology industry since 1996. Early in Ricks career he began managing structured cabling projects and eventually transitioned to design engineer for small startup sites to enterprise level customer needs.

During this time his certifications included BICSI Technician as well as BICSI RCDD(Registered Cabling Distribution Designer).

In 2009 Rick received his NC Alarm System License from the board and added security engineer to his title.

Rick is currently our lead design engineer for integrated technologies and systems at Intellicom.

During his down time Rick enjoys riding UTV trails in the mountains of West Virginia.

MIKE THOMPSON

CTS-D, AV Services Director

Mike is a former Marine with 28 years in the communications industry. Mike joined Intellicom to lead our audiovisual discipline in December 2021 and has carried his AVIXA CTS-D certification since 2002. Mike enjoys all motorsports, and you’ll most likely find him walking in the woods on the weekends playing disk golf with his wife Tracy.

THOMAS HAMMIE

XTP-E: AV Design Engineer

Thomas joined Intellicom in 2021 bringing with him 13 years of experience in Audio-Visual. Thomas began his career as a technician and continued to work his way up to becoming a System Designer. Thomas is a certified Extron Systems Designer (XTP-E) with experience in AutoCAD. Thomas’ technical background along with his eagerness to learn new things, brings an element of excitement and creativity to our AV department.

Thomas works with our Account Executives to offer our customers tailored A/V solutions that exceed their expectations.

MATT FARMER

CTS-I: Senior AV Project Engineer

With 15 years of experience in the Audio-Visual and Live Production Industry. He became interested in this field while attending church and was encouraged in running lights and sound for the drama team. Matt has always been eager to learn and continually enjoys seeking new opportunities to expand his knowledge. Over the years, he has continued his education through manufacturer supplied training, as well as hands on experience with some of the greatest in the industry. Matt has multiple certifications including CTS-I, SMAART certified, Donte level 3, BIAMP, QSC and all Exton certifications. Matt currently leads the engineering team, providing programming, engaging with customers and service support. Matt is always looking for his next adventure while spending time with his family, camping, and off-roading.

JERMAINE ROBINSON

CTS, AV Project Engineer

With experience in live events, conference meetings, and AV integration. Jermaine has helped bring a high level of Audio-Visual technology to many facilities across the Carolinas.

Jermaine has been in the AV Industry since his early teens. Working closely with installation teams, media service teams, and end-user clients; answering the call, providing the skill set needed to implement, maintain, and operate critical Audio-Visual equipment. He enjoys smoked meats, grilling & spending time outdoors.

BRYAN MARTIN

CTS, AV Support Manager

Bryan Martin is the Support Manager here at Intellicom. He has over 16 years of experience in the A/V Industry. He has led and participated with numerous projects here in Durham and across the country. Including businesses, universities, and sports stadiums. Bryan has obtained his CTS and has extensive knowledge of the A/V Industry. He currently lives in Durham, NC with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he plays ice hockey and coaches his sons’ hockey team. GO HOGS!
