Intellicom is a company with customers all over the United States and abroad. Nationally, we have had projects in sixteen states. Recently some of our staff traveled to Bogor, Indonesia. Intellicom is wiring today to accommodate the needs of these and future IP-based applications. We are installing Cat 6 cabling today that will meet the needs of 10GbE and Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. We install computer networking, phone wiring, multi-pair trunk cable, coax and optical fiber. Installation includes all cable, jacks, termination, testing and documentation. A cabling system should be a long-term investment. Research has shown that up to 50% of all network problems are related to network cabling, however only 2% of network investments are allocated to data cabling. Today's networks have an abundance of data traffic. High bandwidth applications are creating a bandwidth gridlock.
